Communication Through Art is an even that was born from a desire to explore how we truly communicate with one another — not only through words, but also through emotions, gestures, images, and all that is unseen yet deeply felt.

We want to remind everyone that communication is more than language. It’s about shared experiences, emotions, sensitivity, and closeness — the invisible threads that unite us despite our differences.

In Zug - a city that has developed from a small fishing town into an expat centre full of languages and world cultures, Communication via Artopens up a space for understanding without words, across language barriers, becoming an opportunity for encounter. 
We invite you to an event that shows how art speaks all languages — reaching beyond words, backgrounds, and histories.

 Why art?

Visual art - paintings, photographs, installations - allows us to touch the universal.
A single image can tell a story that words could never fully express.
That is why we use its power to open up dialogue, invite reflection and create space for different voices.

About the event

During the weekend 22-23 November 2025 we welcome you to Altstadthalle in Zuga historic townhouse in the heart of the old city.
For two days, the entire building will come alive with art, conversations, and creative energy

Across several floors you’ll discover works by women artists from various countries- many of them with migration backgrounds. Their art explores themes of identity, emotion, human connection, and the search for belonging.

In addition to the exhibition, the program includes inspiring talks, workshops, live painting, and creative zones — offering everyone the chance to be part of a dialogue carried through art.

Everyone is Welcome Communication Through Art this event open to all and all languages - Workshops will be held in different languages (PL/EN/DE), so please check the language indication next to each session.
Entry is free.
Only workshops for children require an additional charge, while Play & Craft Kids Corner remains free and open for all young visitors.

The event is organised by Associations Blisko & ScalaArte- an independent Polish community initiative operating in Switzerland.
